The CLIMATE RIBBON PROJECT is a global story-sharing arts ritual that helps us move from climate grief to climate action by inviting community to share the beloved things they stand to lose to climate change, and commit to protecting our planet.

Welcome to the Guelph version, hosted at “The How To Draw A Tree” Wellness Circle on Johnston’s Green at University of Guelph.
The project is supported by CARE (“Climate Adaptation, Resilience, and Empowerment” with Jeanna Rex), the Student Wellness Centre (Steve Donnelly), and community artist Dawn Matheson. Special thanks to Richelle Forsey.
The project kicks off OCTOBER 3, 2025 with students from the University of Guelph CARE program and will remain up indefinitely with participation open to all, self directed. Just follow the instructions in the box at the Circle!
